Cleaning + Care
Wash your HydroJug before first use. All Traveler water bottles are top-rack dishwasher safe, but you can also hand wash with warm, soapy water if you prefer.
For best care, clean both the bottle and lid regularly – especially after using drinks other than water. After washing, allow them to air dry separately, and keep the straw flipped open to encourage airflow.
If your lid does get dirty, we recommend either immersing it in a vinegar bath or allowing it to soak in a mixture consisting of equal parts dish soap, vinegar, and water. Following these steps will help keep your insulated water bottle and lid fresh and long-lasting.

If hand washing, use warm soapy water and a small brush to deep-clean the straw, lid, and stainless steel bottle interior. Avoid abrasive sponges to prevent scratches.
The Traveler line uses its own custom lid and circular flip straw system, designed to fit all Traveler sizes (20oz, 32oz, and 40oz). These parts are not interchangeable with other HydroJug bottles, such as the Sport, Pro, or Shaker lines.
