A 32 ounce tumbler is a convenient solution for bringing your favorite beverage with you on the go. Offering the perfect combination of portability and carrying capacity, it is just the right size to get you through several hours outdoors without weighing you down too much.

What does a 32 oz tumbler look like?

Most 32 ounce tumblers measure about 7.75” tall, with the top measuring about 3.5” in diameter. The base is usually just over 2.5”. They are usually made of BPA-free plastic, with a spill-proof vacuum lid that keeps the liquid from spilling out during traveling or commuting. The lids may have a built-in spout or a straw lid.

HydroJug glass bottles come in a variety of colors and designs. For example, theHydroJug Stainless Steel has an attractive matte finish that feels soft to the touch.

Is a 32 oz container enough to hydrate you?

Is 32 oz a day enough to remain hydrated? The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine recommends drinking 91 ounces a day for women, which comes out to about 11 cups. For men, 125 ounces or 15 cups is the recommended amount.

That being said, 32 ounces of water is plenty for relatively short trips. If you need to stay out longer, it would be best to have a convenient water source with you (or extra tumblers) to ensure you don’t get dehydrated.

What are the advantages of a tumbler water bottle?

There are many benefits to having a tumbler. Some of the most significanttumbler advantages include:

Convenience. Tumblers are a great way to bring your favorite beverage with you on the go. They are small enough to carry in your hand, bag, or coat pocket. The best designs have securely sealed vacuum lids with a straw friendly opening, and most will even fit in a standard car cup holder.

Maintains beverage temperature. Whether you like hot or cold drinks, tumblers are handytravel containers. Sure they aren’t as effective as a thermos, but for shorter trips, you can expect them to maintain the temperature of your cold or hot liquids for a reasonable amount of time.

Safer for the environment. Tumblers keep you from having to use plastic cups, which are well known to be harmful to the environment. Because you can wash and reuse them again and again, tumblers are a much more environmentally friendly option.

Cost savings. Not having to buy cups also means you save money. Instead of getting a juice box, soda can, or coffee to go, you can simply fill it up with your drink of choice and save a lot of money over time.

How can you customize a water tumbler?

Nowadays, tumblers come in such a wide variety of colors and designs that you could pretty much use them out of the box and still have a stylish beverage carrying solution. But if you want to personalize it according to your taste and style preferences, there are tons of ways to customize them.

Laser engraving is a popular option, allowing you to imprint the tumbler with your name, personal information, or company info. You could even have artwork or a photograph color printed on the exterior, making the tumbler a perfect gift, corporate giveaway, or marketing and promotional drinkware.

How much do tumblers cost?

Most tumblers cost from $5 to $20. Custom designs can cost considerably more, sometimes as much as $40 or $50. Expect a good quality tumbler to range from about $6 to $12.

Plastic versus stainless steel straws

Plastic straws are pretty convenient, but metal straws have many advantages over their plastic counterparts. While plastic straws are usually meant for single use, metal straws can generally be used over and over.

Metal straws are made of food-grade stainless steel, which makes them more durable and longer-lasting than plastic straws. Here are some of the advantages of stainless steel straws over plastic straws:

Eco-friendly. Stainless steel straws are both degradable and recyclable. And unlike plastic straws that are typically used only once and then discarded, they can be used over and over. This makes them less likely to end up in a landfill or in the ocean, where they pose a choking hazard to marine creatures.

Safer to use. BPA or bis-phenol is an industrial chemical used in the manufacturing of plastic. When ingested by humans, it can cause serious health issues over time. Although food-grade plastic does not contain BPAs, the low-quality plastic used in plastic straws often does. Stainless steel is BPA-free, making it a safer health option.

Easy cleaning. Even compared to bamboo and silicone straws, stainless steel straws are much easier to clean and maintain, They can be washed repeatedly without causing wear and tear, and can even be popped into a dishwasher.

How do you clean stainless steel straws?

Because stainless steel straws are reusable, you will have to clean them periodically. This gets rid of the drink residue that accumulates on the interior walls and food debris that sticks to the end of the straw.

Stainless steel straws need more than a good rinse. You have to reach inside and scrape the interior with a pipe cleaner to remove any drink residue. But most pipe cleaners are too thin to fit snugly in the straw. If necessary, you may have to twist a second pipe cleaner around the first one so that the material rubs up against the interior of the straw.

It is best toclean steel straws under running water so that it flushes away all the food particles. Add a bit of detergent and then rinse it thoroughly under the tap. Afterward, you can sterilize the straw in your dishwasher.

It is important to clean your stainless steel straws thoroughly after every use to prevent residues from affecting the taste of your beverage. Cleaning your straw also prevents the growth of harmful bacteria that could cause serious illness.

Is a 32 oz tumbler worth it?

Despite a few minor drawbacks‒and they really are few and almost insignificant‒32 ounces are definitely worth purchasing. They are just the right size to keep you hydrated for several hours and will fit in most cup holders. They keep your drinks warm or cool for reasonably long periods as well, which is always a plus.

Most tumblers don’t cost very much. So if 32 ounces just isn’t enough, you could easily afford to purchase as many as you need.

There are many benefits to owning a 32 ounce tumbler. Whether you are looking for a convenient solution for staying hydrated on the road, a handy beverage container for sporting events, or just some way to keep your drink cold during a hot day’s drive, a 32-ouncer is the ideal solution.
