Wash your HydroJug before first use. All Traveler water bottles are top-rack dishwasher safe, but you can also hand wash with warm, soapy water if you prefer.
For best care, clean both the bottle and lid regularly – especially after using drinks other than water. After washing, allow them to air dry separately, and keep the straw flipped open to encourage airflow.
If your lid does get dirty, we recommend either immersing it in a vinegar bath or allowing it to soak in a mixture consisting of equal parts dish soap, vinegar, and water. Following these steps will help keep your insulated water bottle and lid fresh and long-lasting.

Design & Features
The 14oz, 24oz, and 32oz should fit in most cup holders, but the 40oz generally will not fit in smaller car cup holders.
The lid is designed with a tight seal to ensure it remains leakproof. It may feel firm initially but will become easier with use. There is also a lock feature - make sure to press down to unlock the lid when new.
To open smoothly, press down slightly on the lid while lifting the chug feature. This helps release the seal.
