Wholesale Operations Analyst

About the job

Wholesale Operations Analyst

HydroJug · Ogden, UT · Full-time · On-site

About HydroJug

HydroJug is a fast-growing consumer hydration brand headquartered in Utah, built around the belief that staying hydrated should be simple, stylish, and accessible. From our flagship jugs to an expanding line of drinkware and accessories, we design products that fit real lifestyles. As we scale our wholesale presence across major retail partners, our operations team is at the center of making it all happen.

About the Role

HydroJug is looking for a Wholesale Operations Analyst to own the performance of order flow through our warehouse. As order volume and wholesale complexity continue to grow, this role serves as the critical bridge between planning and execution — ensuring retail customer orders move efficiently from ready-to-ship through final shipment, on time, every time. You'll be embedded on-site in our warehouse in Ogden, UT, working closely with Supply Chain and Wholesale Operations to drive real-time visibility, proactively resolve bottlenecks, and build better processes that prevent recurring issues. This role reports directly to Wholesale Operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end order pipeline — monitor health across all stages (ready, picking, routed, shipped) and take accountability for execution gaps
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in picking, routing, and shipment processes and drive root-cause resolution
  • Monitor carrier cutoffs and shipment readiness; adjust focus based on risk and capacity constraints
  • Provide real-time order status updates to Supply Chain and Wholesale Ops, ensuring alignment with customer commitments
  • Track key metrics (order aging, shipment readiness, delays) and recommend process improvements
  • Follow through on problem areas to ensure issues are not just escalated — but fully resolved

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field — OR — 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment coordination, or supply chain — with exposure to order tracking, escalation, or cross-functional communication preferred
  • Recent graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of order flow and shipping processes
  • Ability to identify problems and drive resolution independently
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Analytical mindset with close attention to operational detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or order management systems (OMS)
  • Familiarity with wholesale or retail fulfillment environments
  • Prior experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations role at a consumer goods or e-commerce company
  • Exposure to reporting, data tracking, or process documentation

Success in the First 12 Months

In your first 90 days, you'll develop a strong understanding of HydroJug's order flow process, build relationships with the warehouse and supply chain teams, and establish a consistent daily rhythm for pipeline monitoring and reporting. By the end of your first year, you'll be independently owning order flow performance, identifying trends before they become problems, and actively contributing process improvement recommendations that reduce delays and strengthen our wholesale execution.

Location and Reporting

This is a full-time, on-site role based at HydroJug's warehouse in Ogden, UT. The Wholesale Operations Analyst reports to Wholesale Operations leadership. Standard hours align to warehouse operations with flexibility expected during high-volume periods and around carrier cutoffs.

How to Apply

Apply directly through this LinkedIn posting. No cover letter required — we'd love to see a resume that highlights any relevant experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or related coursework. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
